(AFFI) was established in February 1986 under the leadership of its current President and General Manager, Mr. Johnny G. Violeta. Then known as American Express Forwarders, Inc., the company was certified by the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) to operate as both domestic and international forwarding agent. It also became an accredited member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in December of the same year.
Inspired by the company’s success in its international airfreight operations, AFFI updated and improved its facilities and manpower in order to keep up with the increasing demands of the export and import industry. Covering the entire United States of America, it emerged as a top grosser in the international airfreight forwarding market in the 1990s. And to continuously expand its operations, it launched its international sea freight services.
Today, AFFI continues to expand its services and operations both locally and internationally. It offers cargo forwarding, brokerage and allied services to export and import businesses.
